People of Yoruba heritage, what is the worth of a person life

As a people of Yoruba heritage what is the worth of a person life? Our governors are acting as though they are clueless, useless, brainless and I wonder why those elites parading the social media with 'superior ideas' fail entirely to see this! Recession was created by these horrible men. This insecurity is their hand work too. They equip their thugs and criminals, fund them heavily and thereafter abandon them. It seems our patience to this people and our accommodation of other tribes including the Fulani is being taking for granted, and a death too many has been reported across the Southwest. Another gory situation occurred in Odeda local government, Alabata to be exact. Speaking to the king of Alabata he narrated the situation that took several Yoruba lives again. Which has to do with indigenous Farmers and Fulani herders. From my understanding the primary responsibility of a government is protection of life and property, when this can no longer the assured, then the right thing for the government to do is quit or resign. A feud between a community in Alabata over destruction of farm property have yet turned again scores of death in a otherwise peaceful community. As at the time of filling this report, the Fulani men that killed several residents of Alabata have been handed to the police and the Commisioner of police of Ogun state is very much aware. Since we do not want to create a wrong signal, we await patiently what the authorities will do. Although the Fulani people have bosted that they will be released by the police on giving them two cows. We as law abiding citizens of Ogun state have handed them over to the police, while we wait patiently for the action of the government. However they have also given a stern warning that it will be a grevious error if this killer Fulani men are not brought to book and are released by the police and the Government of Ogun state. They should know that the greatest carnage ever known would result should that happen and they should also realize that is the only solution left to the community to protect themselves and family whichever way possible They have lived harmoniously with this fulanis for several years with no problems. It’s shocking that they have suddenly changed gear and gone so bold and promised us they are taking over our farm land and anybody that complains would be killed. They have made their threats a reality so far. We know but we say to them we are now ready for a face off and the results would not be palatable in the history of conflicts. Several Nigerians have been senselessly killed in the last couple of months and enough is enough. If you can no longer live with us peacefully and safely it means the time has come that all of you will just have to leave our land either the easy way or the hard way, we are ready and we will only give you a couple of days when it resorts to that, it’s better you decide. We are saying this in all honesty, sincerity and determination. We in Yoruba land are used to conflicts and we are not afraid of defending what is ours when there is need to, as the situation is now, we will not give you a specific days, but know that whom ever wants to be safe must leave immediately. We cannot continue to sit have our young ones that are supposed to bury us slaughtered and killed carelessly. We appeal to the commissioner of police in Ogun state and the Executive Governor of Ogun state that whatever happens after this is the results of their decisions and would be in their conscience. Enough is Enough. E-Signed Ahmed Olanrewaju Convener. Time To Act Group (TTAG)
