Barely two weeks after someone named Peatars Xtopher posted her video and sent it on request which also went viral, 77-year old Grandma, Alhaja Hassan. Nasimot Amoke has had her prayers answered.
The now popular Arsenal No. 1 fan in Nigeria was honoured by a faction of the Nigerian Football and other Sports Supporters Club tagged the Authentic Sports Supporters Club.
Mama Amoke was reportedly given two hundred and fifty thousand naira (N250,000) with a proposed all expenses paid trip to the famous Emirates Stadium to tour Arsenal facilities. She was equally handed an ambassadorial job by the body which automatically ties her to the continental body.
This event was reportedly took place on July 11, 2020 as football fans and residents in Surulere and its environs were held entertained by the roadshow cum motocade parade of the Authentic Supporters Club members along Ogunlana Drive.
The club’s patron Hon. Rotimi Ajanaku, a long time fan of Arsenal issued a cheque of two hundred and fifty thousand naira (N250,000) to Alhaja Amoke. He made the pledge of the trip to the United Kingdom.
In his remark, President of Authentic Nigeria football Supporters Club, Abayomi Ogunjimi assured spirts fans and its teeming members of the best in ensuring that sports get its place of pride in the country through the activities of the club.
The event was to unveil Alhaja Hassan Nasimot Amoke as a brand ambassador and member of the Authentic Supporters Club.
