THEME: THE SERVANT AND HIS SERVICE (1)

"Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many." Matthew 20:28.

*Message*
God's is the Creator and Maker. He created each man and woman for a purpose. Jesus came to the world for a purpose and achieved the purpose for which He came. Even though Jesus is God and is meant to be served, He came to serve, hence He took on Him form of a servant. (Philippians 2:5-10). Jesus did not come to be served.

As believers, we are all leaders because we have been commissioned by God to go and influence the world as salt and light. But how do we lead and influence the world? There are even many ministers of God who heeded the call to ministry without the mind to serve but to be served. The purpose of our creation, salvation, call, appointment or ordination, promotion, transfer from place to place is to serve. He who is not serving is not fulfilling the fulfilling the Divine role and purpose of God for all believers. Over the next few days, we will look at this very important topic.
